GOA Hair Salon Eglinton

GOA Eglinton belongs in the comparison because it is convenient for Midtown and has a broad cut-and-colour menu. But we would call HairTree first for ordinary grey-root maintenance. Recent colour complaints in the GOA Eglinton sample are directly relevant to this service.

Our verdict: This is not our first recommendation for a new colour client. Choose HairTree for an initial Midtown quote, or book GOA only after a convincing consultation with a particular colourist and a clear correction policy.

Prices and what the appointment includes

Essential cut from $65; complete colour, cut and finish quote required. The booking page separates Essential, Signature and Premium cuts. Ask which includes the finished blow-dry you want and get one written quote for colour, cut and styling.

Prices are starting amounts in Canadian dollars before HST and any optional tip. These combinations are menu arithmetic, not a personal quote. Check the current service menu.

Do not import another GOA branch’s price or a cheap offer from an old discussion. Select Eglinton, your stylist and the exact services. Ask for examples of routine grey coverage and hairlines, not only bleach transformations.

Google reviews: useful praise and cautions

What customers like: Recent Google accounts praise Erin for colour, Bella for testing a colour plan before proceeding, and Shanta for listening during a cut. Other customers report good results after showing reference photos. The feedback is mixed, including praise and criticism of the same stylist.

What gives us pause: Two detailed critical accounts, marked two and five months old when checked, describe unwanted colour and cut results. One specifically concerns a brown root touch-up and reports patchy colour after attempted corrections. Other accounts describe unwanted layers or poor finishing. The salon apologizes and invites contact in several replies; these remain customer reports, not independently established events.

These are customer reports from a sample checked September 29, 2026, not independently verified events or a count of every review. Read the branch’s Google listing.
