Toronto’s Halloween options reach well beyond College Street and Dundas West. This guide now includes 22 more dated venues and events, plus Gladstone, the Drake and an Etobicoke club-members’ party.
For a lower entry budget, start with Handlebar’s $15 general-admission listing. For an 80s and 90s night with a clear door price, choose Ground Control. For a bigger two-room dance party near Line 2, compare Spacetime at Lithuanian House. Get Well remains our flexible bar-crawl starting point.
The main catch is the ticket restriction: early-arrival deadlines, age rules, sold-out tiers and separate rooms. The tables below give dated admission amounts checked October 12, 2026. A regular bar profile does not mean a special Halloween event there is confirmed.
Pick the night you actually want
| Your plan | Best starting point | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Talk, play games and move between bars | Get Well and a short Dundas West route | Capacity, cover and any special Halloween rules |
| Dance to a named programme | A dated Lee's Palace or Dance Cave event | Which floor, age rule, doors and final ticket total |
| Hear live music | A confirmed performance at a College Street venue | Whether the ticket includes access to anything else |
| Find a quiet place for conversation | An early visit before a venue's evening programme | Noise and seating that night |
| Spend as little as possible | One nearby bar, with the current door charge confirmed | No-cover claims may exclude special events |
Don't choose a route with six compulsory stops. Halloween queues make that plan fragile. Pick one main room and one backup.
Get Well: the best flexible starting point

Get Well is at 1181 Dundas Street West. Its site lists opening from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. every day.
The venue describes vintage arcade games, rotating beer taps and pizza service. That gives a small group something to do without requiring everyone to dance.
The tradeoff is the same one that makes the room social. Games, conversations and a busy bar don't create a quiet lounge. If your main goal is a long catch-up, arrive early and decide whether the room suits you before ordering a second round.
We haven't verified a dedicated 2026 Halloween party or special-event cover policy there. Confirm those details for October 30 or 31 rather than applying ordinary hours to the whole night.
Choose Get Well for a casual starting point. Skip it if you need a guaranteed seat and hushed conversation.
Lee's Palace and Dance Cave: read the venue line carefully

Lee's Palace's event calendar lists programmes at both Lee's Palace and Dance Cave. They share a building at 529 Bloor Street West, but an event at one is not automatically entry to the other.
The October calendar lists a “2000's Night Halloween Party” on Friday, October 30, with a displayed $15 ticket price and a 19+ designation. It also lists “Death To T.O” on Saturday, October 31. Follow the individual ticket page for current availability, doors and fees.
Do not treat a generic “Sold Out” label in a calendar feed as a reliable inventory check. Open the actual event before making that call.
This is north of the requested College and Dundas West strip. It earns a place as a nearby ticketed alternative, not as a College Street bar.
The venue FAQ says the address is one block from Bathurst subway station. It also describes seasonal coat check. Check the floor and access arrangements if stairs are a concern.
Choose the dated event when its music is what you want. Don't buy a ticket simply because the word Halloween is in the title.
Two dated Halloween choices to compare
The October 12 calendar check gives you more than a general Halloween label:
| Event at Lee's Palace | Published date and time | Listed price | Choose it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rangarang Live Vol. 2: Halloween | Thursday, October 29, 8 p.m. | $30 | A named programme on the Thursday before Halloween |
| 2000's Night Halloween Party | Friday, October 30, 10:30 p.m. | $15 | Pop, hip-hop, emo and other 2000s music |
Both official listings say 19+. These are listed prices, not a checked all-in ticket total or a promise of remaining tickets. The Friday page encourages costumes and advertises best-dressed prizes.
The start time is a real difference. A 10:30 p.m. party suits people who want dinner first. It is a weaker choice for someone who wants an early night or relies on a last train. Agree on that before the group buys tickets.
Choose Friday for the throwback music. Choose Thursday only after reading the programme itself. A Halloween title doesn't make the two nights interchangeable.
College Street live music is a different option

The Emmet Ray at 924 College Street keeps a dated live-music calendar. Its current website lists evening bar hours and separate kitchen times.
That is useful for readers who want an actual performance rather than a club night. But a regular jazz listing does not establish costumes, dancing or a Halloween special.
Look for the exact October date. Check the performer, seating time and any cover or minimum spend. A room with scheduled seatings can be awkward for friends arriving at different times.
Choose a booked performance when music is the point of the evening. For a loose bar crawl, pick a venue without a fixed start time.
A real Halloween programme versus a bar that is simply open
CODA: the nearby electronic-music alternative

CODA's calendar lists CLASSMATIC on Friday, October 30 and The Freaks Come Out on Saturday, October 31. CODA is at 794 Bathurst Street, by Bathurst Station. This is a Bloor-and-Bathurst alternative, outside the strict College and Dundas West route.
Choose it if the DJ and electronic music are the point of your night. It is a stronger commitment than dropping into a neighbourhood bar. Buying a ticket changes how freely you can move to another room if the music doesn't suit you.
The venue FAQ says entry is 19-plus with physical photo ID. Its usual weekend hours are 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Alcohol service normally ends at 2 a.m. The Halloween listings advertise a 4 a.m. licence, but use the dated event conditions for that night. General closing time and alcohol-service time are separate.
Coat check is seasonal and costs $4 per hung item, cash only. The system requires a mobile phone. Earplugs are sold for $2. Bring a small amount of cash even if your ticket was bought online. Two hung items mean $8, not one $4 charge for the person.
Current ticket inventory and fees are not confirmed here. Open the ticket link from CODA's calendar and read the final total. A third-party “starting at” price does not prove that tier is still available. Reserve CODA for a night when you want that programme, rather than using it as an unplanned last stop.
The choices now have different strengths
| Choice | What is established | Best reason to choose it | Reason to skip it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Get Well, 1181 Dundas West | Bar, arcade games and posted regular hours | A flexible start with things to do besides dancing | A particular Halloween party or cover price still needs confirmation |
| Lee's Palace / Dance Cave, 529 Bloor West | Dated Halloween listings, including the October 30 2000s night | A defined music format with a posted $15 ticket base for that event | It is north of the requested strip; check the actual room and fees |
| CODA, 794 Bathurst | October 30 and 31 programmes | Electronic music and a dedicated dance floor | A ticketed commitment; final ticket price is not established here |
| The Emmet Ray, 924 College | A working music venue and calendar | Live music instead of a club-format night | A Halloween costume event is not confirmed by regular hours |
| DROM Taberna, 458 Queen West | A current performance calendar | A different nearby live-music format | Queen West, not College or Dundas; October 31 programme not verified |
The point is to choose between formats, not pretend every place offers the same party. Get Well is our flexible starting choice. A dated Lee's or CODA ticket is the better choice when you want a specific dance programme.
DROM is useful for live music, but don't invent its Halloween night
DROM's official calendar provides a useful example of how different its nights can be. October 13 lists Davis & Stryker at 7 p.m. and Big Fam Jam at 9:30 p.m., both pay what you can. October 17 lists a later LoxRutz set at 11:30 p.m. for $15.
Those dated listings establish a working live-music option. They do not establish a free October 31 party. Use the calendar again when its Halloween programme appears. This is a nearby alternative for people who prefer performers and varied sets to a single club room.
Two routes that don't waste the night travelling
For the Dundas plan, make Get Well the anchor and keep the other stops on the same strip. It is better to enjoy one place than spend the busiest part of the night repeatedly joining queues. A room full of friends is more useful than collecting five bar names.
For the Bathurst plan, book the Lee's or CODA event you actually want. Both sit around Bloor and Bathurst, so you avoid a late switch between separate nightlife areas. Check the venue's re-entry policy before leaving a ticketed event. Don't assume your wristband is a pass back in.
For live music, start with the performance time. Arriving at a bar at midnight can mean missing the act you chose it for. Read “doors,” “show” and “late set” as separate times.
Compare the whole bill before choosing a cheap ticket
The October 30 Lee's listing supplies a $15 base ticket, not a universal Halloween price. A hypothetical second $15 ticket would double that entry spending before fees, drinks or coats. Buying one event and staying there is the more controlled plan.
At CODA, coat check alone can add $4 or $8 depending on hung items. A table reservation is a separate expense. The reservation rules say event tickets are not credited against the table minimum. Don't book a table believing your prepaid admission reduces that commitment.
Pick the actual music, then the final bill. “No cover,” “guest list” and “4 a.m.” only help when they apply to your exact night.
Build a short route around one neighbourhood

For Dundas West, use Get Well as an anchor and check the current programmes of nearby bars before adding a second stop. For College, start with the venue that has the event you actually want.
Moving between College and Dundas takes time. Walking also feels different in rain, costume shoes or a crowded street. Don't make a bar on Bloor sound like the next door along Dundas.
A good route has a clear meeting point, one main destination and a backup. Send the exact address to the group. “Meet on College” is not enough.
If someone needs step-free access, decide that before choosing the route. A ground-floor entrance does not prove accessible washrooms. Ask about the whole visit.
Getting home
Use the TTC service-advisory page before leaving. Don't assume the subway runs until the bar closes. Check the overnight route if you plan to stay later.
A rideshare pickup is easier when the group has one agreed spot. Avoid stopping a car in a live traffic lane or crowding a venue's doorway while you wait.
Two more west-end Halloween plans with dates attached
The Garrison: an alternative costume dance party on October 31

The Garrison at 1197 Dundas Street West lists DISORDER /: Halloween on October 31, 2026, at 10 p.m. Its calendar shows ticket tiers from $18.97 to $27.36 alongside the base prices. Check the available tier and checkout total before paying.
Choose this when the alternative music and costume party are the reason for going. It is a ticketed plan, rather than a bar you can assume will have space later.
Sneaky Dee's: three different Halloween dates

Sneaky Dee's event calendar lists Monsters Only, a 2010s Halloween dance party, on October 24; Black Parade, an emo Halloween party, on October 30; and Spooky 2000s on October 31. All list a 10:30 p.m. start. The venue is at 431 College Street, with the concert room upstairs.
The October 24 ticket page specifies ages 19 and over, physical ID and $6 drinks before 11:30 p.m. That is a time-limited offer, not an all-night drink price. Tickets are non-refundable.
Choose the decade or music you actually enjoy. Don't make October 31 your only plan until the seller confirms tickets remain available. A calendar listing can stay visible after advance tickets sell out.
For a different west-end format, Lula Lounge at 1585 Dundas Street West offers its regular Friday and Saturday salsa programme, with a beginner lesson at 9 p.m. and live music from 10 p.m. It is a useful live-music alternative. Those regular details do not establish a Halloween theme or an October 31 ticket offer.
Halloween across Toronto: 22 more venues and events
The city is bigger than one west-end strip. These additions bring in East York, Bloor West, the ravine, Geary, Dupont, the Entertainment District and more Queen West rooms. Choose one ticketed anchor and build the night around it.
Prices and ticket status were checked October 12, 2026. The RA amounts below include the RA fee as shown in the widget. Promoter base prices are labelled separately. Tiers, capacity and checkout totals can change. The lowest displayed tier is not a guarantee of availability.

Our added picks, by the night you want
For retro music with a stated door price, choose Ground Control. For a lower entry budget in Kensington, start with Handlebar's general-admission listing. For minimal electronic music, choose Mooi and read the early-arrival condition. For a two-room party near the subway, compare Spacetime at Lithuanian House. For an earlier finish, Evergreen's advertised 4 to 11 p.m. programme is a different option from an overnight club.
Skip treating Story's headliner ticket as a casual cheap stop. Skip Rivoli as an available backup while Throb shows sold out. If you're 19 or 20, settle Wiggle's conflicting age rule before buying.
Dundas West, Kensington and Queen West

Trinity Drug Store: Merchandise bundles cost more. Don't compare a $51 entry-and-earplugs package with admission alone. Confirm the included drink's terms.
Bambi's: A low entry price does not buy a private table. Choose it for the dance night rather than a seated catch-up.
Handlebar: The cheapest release is not guaranteed available. The online sale cutoff is noon on October 31, well before doors.
Wiggle Room: The operator's $30 early tier is not the current RA ticket shown. Official text conflicts on a 6 or 7 a.m. finish, so confirm the end time too.
Catacombs Cabaret: Use the alley entrance. Choose the music deliberately; this isn't an all-purpose Top 40 room.
Ground Control: Advance and door admission are separate prices. Door entry still depends on capacity.
The Comfort Zone: Use the current Queen West location. Old references to the Spadina venue won't get you to this event.
Boogie: The widget displayed an October 13 sales cutoff despite an October 31 event. Confirm that mismatch with the promoter before relying on online sales.
Geary, Dupont and the northwest dance spaces

Standard Time: The lowest ticket requires arrival before 11 p.m. It is not an anytime-entry price.
Cafeteria: Confirm the current entrance and age rule before buying. The ticket is for this programme, not every event using the Cafeteria name.
Geary Avenue Warehouse Project: Only one tier was displayed in our check. Don't turn that into a promise of the future door price.
Osler Records: The event's simple $15 cost field is a base figure. Use the widget's displayed tier when comparing your bill.
Mooi Space: Use the before-10 ticket only if you can arrive that early. The warehouse setting needs its own journey home.
Bloor, Dovercourt and downtown

Lithuanian House: A $30 base-price headline is stale for the sold-out tier. Buy a single-night ticket unless you actually want the separate series pass.
Longboat Hall: Check the Dovercourt entrance. The event advertises limited door tickets subject to capacity, so a walk-up backup is weak.
Story Toronto: This is one of the higher entry bills in this comparison. Choose it because you want Steve Lawler, not because any Halloween club will do.
Bibliotheque: Confirm whether registration, an arrival cutoff or a capacity rule applies. A $0 listing is not guaranteed entry at any hour.
Vertigo: A weekend listing does not prove one $30 ticket covers every session. Read the event's ticket scope and bar-service rules.
NEST: Do not apply the venue's ordinary women-before-11:30 guest-list offer to Halloween unless this event explicitly includes it.
An earlier ravine event and an East York alternative

Evergreen Brick Works: A 4 p.m. start is a different plan from a midnight club. The ravine location needs a transport plan, especially at the finish.
Motorista Studio: The advertised room count describes this event. Confirm access and the actual ticket tier instead of assuming a $15 late walk-up.
Rivoli's two programmes need separate decisions

The venue calendar lists Parklife: Britpop Halloween on October 30 and Throb on October 31. Throb's ticket page showed sold out on our October 12 check. Check Parklife's separate ticket rather than assuming one unavailable event means the entire venue has the same status.
Two Queen West options that don't need a rave plan

The West Queen West BIA's current Halloween programme lists Good Enough Live Band Scaryoke at Gladstone House from 8 p.m. to midnight, with no cover, plus a costume contest. This is a live-band karaoke plan, not a promise of a quiet table.
The same BIA programme lists the Drake's Black Lagoon cocktail pop-up, including October 31. It describes the café, rather than every Drake room, as the setting. Choose it for themed drinks and the decor. A cover price was not established for this pop-up, so confirm the actual reservation and entry terms.
These are two more options beyond the 22-row table. Read the dated organizer notice before leaving, especially if you need a particular room or accessible entrance.
An Etobicoke event with a real eligibility limit

The High Park Ski Club Halloween party is October 31, 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., downstairs at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 101, 3850 Lake Shore Boulevard West. The stated price is $25 including tax, with light snacks and a cash bar.
This is a private HPSC members' party where guests are welcome. It is not a general-public $25 club recommendation. Ask about member-and-guest registration and downstairs access before making it your plan. Choose it if you meet the event's participation rules and want a Long Branch social night.
Pick a route that matches these actual addresses
Kensington and lower Dundas: Handlebar and Trinity are a more manageable pairing than a late trip from College to the waterfront. A timed ticket still needs you to reach its actual door before the cutoff.
Queen West and Parkdale: Ground Control, Boogie, Gladstone and the Drake give different formats along the same general corridor. Comfort Zone is a separate after-hours commitment. Don't expect one admission to cover another room.
Geary and Dupont: Standard Time, the Warehouse Project and Cafeteria are different venues at different addresses. Pick one anchor and check the walk between the exact entrances. “Geary party” isn't a location by itself.
East York or the ravine: Motorista and Evergreen need their own transport plans. They aren't adjacent alternatives. Evergreen's earlier finish can suit someone who wants an event without staying out until morning.
Etobicoke: The HPSC party is useful for eligible members and guests near Long Branch. It is a better local plan for that group than pretending every good Toronto Halloween night has to happen downtown.
Frequently asked questions
Are Halloween parties confirmed at every bar in this guide?
No. Get Well and The Emmet Ray have verified venue information, but specific Halloween programming needs a date-by-date check. The Lee's Palace calendar has dated Halloween listings.
Is Dance Cave on College Street?
No. It is in the Lee's Palace building at 529 Bloor Street West. Check the event's venue line to know which room your ticket covers.
Can I go bar hopping without tickets?
Some rooms allow walk-ins, but we haven't verified Halloween cover and capacity rules for each venue. Confirm the main stop and have a backup.
Does guest list mean free entry?
Not necessarily. Read the actual offer, including arrival deadlines and special-event exclusions. Keep the written terms.
What should I check for an accessible Halloween night?
Ask about the entrance, seating, washrooms and the event floor. Check the route between venues too. Don't rely on “ground floor” as a complete answer.
Is a Halloween boat party a good backup?
Only if you want the fixed schedule and have checked the operator's terms. It is not a flexible backup once boarding closes.
For other plans, see our Halloween without clubbing guide and Church Street Halloween guide. Pick the music or activity first, then buy only the ticket that matches it.
