2026 CNE Food Building coupons.

The official 2026 CNE Food Building coupon booklet has 31 coupon boxes. Most save $1 or $2, but a few offer a free item, a second item free or a complete meal price. The best deal depends on what you already planned to eat.

Download our local copy of the official 2026 CNE coupon PDF. It is a four-page file issued by the Canadian National Exhibition. We have also listed every coupon below, so you can plan without opening a 19.8 MB file on the midway.

The quick answer

  • Number of coupon boxes: 31.
  • Where they work: Participating booths inside the CNE Food Building.
  • When they work: During the 2026 CNE, which runs from August 21 to September 7.
  • Common rule: The coupons cannot be combined with another offer, coupon or special.
  • Common limit: Two per person, with a stricter rule on the Eva’s Original coupon.
  • What to bring: Save the PDF on your phone before leaving home. Printing the pages is the safer choice because the booklet does not say if vendors must accept a phone screen.
  • Our best-value starting point: Use the Pizza Nova or Dutch Frites offer when two people actually want the included items. A free second item can beat a $1 discount, but only when the required purchase also fits your plan.

The booklet’s file name includes the word “lunch.” The printed coupon terms do not give lunch hours or an 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. restriction. We would not invent one. Ask the booth before ordering if you plan to use a coupon outside normal lunch time.

Download the official CNE food coupon booklet

Open or download the locally hosted 2026 CNE Food Building coupon PDF.

The local copy is the same official four-page promotional file we checked on August 27, 2026. It is large, so download it on Wi-Fi before your CNE visit. You can also take screenshots of the coupons you expect to use. Keep the full PDF because a vendor may want to see the printed conditions around the offer.

The document does not explain whether a screenshot, full PDF on a phone or printed coupon is required. A printout creates the least room for an argument at a busy counter. If you use your phone, turn up the brightness and have the right page open before reaching the cashier.

Which CNE coupons look like the best value?

The coupon sheet does not include regular menu prices. That means no honest guide can calculate every exact saving. We can still identify the offers with the strongest structure.

Best simple two-person deal: Pizza Nova

Buy one slice and a pop, then get a second slice of equal value. If two people already want a slice and can share or use the required drink, the saving is the normal price of the second slice.

This is weaker if you only wanted one slice. The required pop is part of the purchase, so compare the total rather than focusing on the word “free.” The offer is at booths 131 to 135.

Best flexible buy-one-get-one deal: Dutch Frites

Buy one small frites and choose either a second small frites free or one caramel stroopwafel ice cream sandwich free. The coupon says the offer is available while quantities last. Sauces cost extra.

This is a strong choice for two people because the required item is the same size as one of the free choices. Ask whether you must choose the free frites or dessert before the order is entered. Find it at booths 221 and 222.

Best group snack: Tiny Tom Donuts

Three dozen Tiny Tom Donuts cost $24 with the coupon. That is $8 per dozen, or about $0.67 per donut, before any applicable tax.

It is a lot of food for one person. It makes more sense for a family or group. The four listed locations are booths 411, 412, 428 and 429.

Best fixed meal price: Smokin

The Smokin coupon gives you any sandwich, fries and a drink for $18 plus HST at booth 806. At 13 per cent HST, the total is $20.34.

The booklet does not show the regular price, sandwich sizes or possible upgrades. Treat $20.34 as a known complete-meal total, not as proof of a specific saving.

Best dessert add-on: BeaverTails

Buy a BeaverTails pastry and choose one of two offers. You can get 50 per cent off a double-scoop gelato, or add a strawberry lemonade for $2.99 plus HST.

If full 13 per cent HST applies to the $2.99 lemonade add-on, that portion is about $3.38. You still pay for the pastry. Ask for the full after-tax total before choosing between gelato and lemonade. The booths are 208 and 209C.

Best free-drink offers

Korean Fried Chicken gives a free drink with any entrée at booth 805. Lick’s gives a free pop when you buy both a burger and a poutine at booths 406C and 407C.

The Korean Fried Chicken offer needs one main item. The Lick’s offer needs two food items. If you did not already want a poutine, buying one to receive a pop is not a saving.

Best direct $2 discounts

Several booths take $2 off without promising a vague percentage. Eva’s Original applies it to a Chimney Cone. Quick Pita and Steak & Cheese Factory apply it to sandwiches or poutine. Other $2 coupons cover halibut and chips, a Greek dinner, a Korean dog, or a waffle or poutine.

Read the required item carefully. A direct discount is useful only if the coupon covers the exact meal you want.

Terry’s Old Fashioned LemonadeSave $0.50 on one regular or large lemonade729 and 826This is the smallest stated cash discount in the booklet. It may still help if lemonade is already your choice.
Jamaica booth$1 off regular rice or roti129 and 130The coupon image shows “Jamaica” but no fuller vendor name. Use the booth numbers and ask what counts as regular.
Ali’s Roti$1 off a regular rice dish, roti, regular shawarma meal or plate712 and 714The coupon includes several regular-size choices. Premium items and upgrades are not named.

Lick’s HomeburgersReceive a free pop with the purchase of any Lick’s burger and a poutine406C and 407CYou must buy both a burger and poutine. Ask which pop size is included.

The Ye Olde Fudge Pot wording is less clear than the other offers. It says “Buy 2 boxes of fudge (6 slices).” Ask whether each box contains six slices or the two boxes contain six slices in total. Do not order based on our guess.

The rules printed on every coupon

Each coupon repeats the same basic terms:

  • It is valid only at the 2026 CNE in the Food Building.
  • It is not valid with another offer, coupon or special.
  • The limit is two per person.
  • It has no cash value.

Eva’s Original adds a more specific rule of one coupon per customer per visit. Follow the stricter wording on that coupon.

“No cash value” means you cannot exchange the coupon for money. It also means a booth does not owe you cash when the stated discount is worth more than a change you request.

The two-per-person line does not explain whether it means two copies of one coupon or two coupon redemptions across the whole booklet. Ask before placing a large group order. Do not split transactions just to work around a vendor’s interpretation.

What the coupon booklet does not tell you

The missing details matter almost as much as the discounts.

It does not confirm phone acceptance

There is no instruction saying “print this coupon” or “show it on your phone.” Save the full file offline and consider printing it. If a vendor requires a paper coupon, a screenshot will not solve the problem.

It does not give coupon hours

The file name contains “lunch vendor promotion ticket,” but the visible terms do not give a lunch window. The Food Building is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the regular CNE dates and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Labour Day. Those building hours do not prove that every coupon is accepted for every open hour.

It does not list regular prices

A $1 or $2 discount is easy to understand, but the final value depends on the normal menu price and required add-ons. Ask for the regular price and coupon total before tapping your card.

It rarely explains tax

The Smokin and BeaverTails coupons say “plus HST.” Most other coupons do not state whether the displayed price is before or after tax. A missing tax note is not a promise that tax is included.

Ontario has special point-of-sale tax treatment for some prepared food and drink purchases of $4 or less. A CNE order can include several items and pass that threshold. Let the booth calculate the actual tax instead of assuming every small item gets the same treatment.

It does not give allergy or dietary information

The coupon logos and short descriptions are not ingredient lists. Ask the vendor about ingredients and cross-contact before paying. A pita, roti, poutine or rice dish is not automatically vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free or safe for an allergy.

It does not promise stock

Dutch Frites explicitly says its free items are available while quantities last. Other booths can also sell out of an item during a busy fair day. Have a second coupon choice instead of walking across the building for only one offer.

How to work out the real saving

Use this simple test before ordering:

  1. Write down what you would buy without the coupon.
  2. Find the regular price of that exact order at the booth.
  3. Add every required drink, side or second item.
  4. Apply the coupon.
  5. Add tax and paid upgrades.
  6. Compare the final totals.

For Pizza Nova, let one slice cost S and the required pop cost D. Two equal-value slices plus the pop normally cost 2S + D. The coupon total is S + D. Your saving is S, but only if you wanted two slices and the pop.

For a $1 combo discount, a $5 drink added only to unlock the coupon makes the order $4 more expensive than buying the food alone. The coupon is useful when the drink was already part of your plan.

For Tiny Tom Donuts, the known coupon price is $24 for 36 donuts. Divide $24 by 36 and the pre-tax unit cost is about $0.67. Divide by three and each dozen costs $8.

For the Smokin meal, the coupon says $18 plus HST. A full 13 per cent HST adds $2.34, making the total $20.34. Paid substitutions or upgrades would increase it.

A practical coupon plan for two people

Start by choosing food, not by chasing the largest word on the page.

If both people want pizza, the Pizza Nova offer is easy to share. If both want fries or one wants fries and the other wants dessert, Dutch Frites may create a stronger second-item value. If one person wants a complete sandwich meal, Smokin gives a clear after-tax base of $20.34.

Bring water if the CNE rules allow it and you do not want a drink. Do not buy several drinks only to unlock small discounts. The free-drink coupon at Korean Fried Chicken is cleaner because it requires only an entrée.

For a group, Tiny Tom’s 36-donut offer is easier to use than buying several separate desserts. The cost is known, sharing is simple and there are four listed booths.

Pick two backup coupons. Lines can be long, an item can sell out and booths that share a number can be confusing. A backup stops a small saving from consuming half an hour.

Where to use the coupons

The coupons are for the CNE Food Building inside Exhibition Place. They are not general coupons for a brand’s regular Toronto stores.

Open the CNE Food Building in Google Maps.

The CNE runs from August 21 to September 7, 2026. The Food Building is scheduled to open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each regular day. On Labour Day, September 7, it closes at 7 p.m.

You need CNE admission to reach the Food Building. Food is not included with regular admission. Check the official CNE ticket page for the current admission total and fees.

For transit, cycling and parking information, use the official CNE directions page. Parking on the grounds is listed at $40 to $50, so a small food coupon will not make driving the cheaper choice by itself.

How to use the coupons without holding up the line

Download the PDF before leaving home. The CNE can be crowded, and a weak connection is frustrating when you are already at the register.

Open the right page while waiting. Tell the cashier you have the coupon before the order is entered. Ask what qualifies, including the drink size, included side and cost of any upgrade.

Check the screen or receipt before paying. The discount may appear as a separate line. If it does not, ask politely while the transaction is still open.

Do not assume the coupon can be added after payment. The booklet does not promise refunds or retroactive adjustments.

Keep a backup payment method. The CNE accepts common card types and cash for gate tickets, but individual food booths can have their own operating limits or temporary terminal problems.

Our honest take

This booklet is useful, but it is not a magic cheap-food pass. Many coupons save only $1 and require a drink or full combo. The best offers are the ones that match an order you already wanted.

Our first choices are Pizza Nova for two people, Dutch Frites for a shareable snack, Tiny Tom for a group and Smokin when you want a known meal price. The direct $2 discounts are good backups because the saving is clear.

Do not cross the full Food Building to save 50 cents. Time at the CNE has value too. Pick offers near the things you already plan to see and eat.

CNE coupon FAQ

Where can I download the 2026 CNE food coupons?

Use our locally hosted copy of the official CNE coupon PDF. It contains four pages and 31 coupon boxes. Download it before your visit because the file is about 19.8 MB.

Do I need to print the CNE coupons?

The booklet does not say whether a printed coupon is required or whether a phone screen is accepted. Printing is the safer option. If you use your phone, save the full PDF offline and show the terms with the offer.

Are the coupons valid only at lunch?

The PDF file name includes the word “lunch,” but the terms printed on the coupons do not state lunch hours. Ask the vendor before ordering outside lunch time. Do not assume the Food Building’s hours automatically become the coupon hours.

Can I combine a CNE food coupon with another special?

No. Every coupon says it is not valid with another offer, coupon or special. Compare the coupon with the booth’s current deal and use the better one.

How many times can I use a coupon?

The common wording says “Limit two per person.” It does not explain whether that applies to each offer or the whole booklet. Eva’s Original separately says one coupon per customer per visit, so follow that stricter rule there.

Do I need CNE admission to use the food coupons?

Yes. The participating booths are inside the CNE Food Building at Exhibition Place. Admission, rides, travel and parking are separate costs.

Which CNE coupon saves the most money?

The booklet does not provide enough regular prices to prove one winner. Pizza Nova and Dutch Frites can give a full second item, while several vendors offer a direct $2 discount. The best saving is the one that does not make you buy food or drinks you did not want.

Are taxes included in the coupon prices?

Do not assume they are. Smokin and BeaverTails explicitly say “plus HST,” while most other coupons are silent about tax. Ask for the final total before paying.
